Meet our team
Jason Bau BE (Civil) RPEQ NER MIEAust
Jason has almost 20 years’ experience in the geotechnical field and is passionate about raising the standards in the industry.
Jason regularly presents on geotechnical matters as a Member of Engineers Australia, the Standards Australia WS-014: Plumbing and Drainage Sub Committee and a former member of the Housing and Engineering Design and Research Association (HEDRA). He has also presented papers at state and national levels.
Jason enjoys working with soils in his spare time, too, through his homegrown veggie patch. Homemade pasta, cricket and collectables are other ways he enjoys investing his free time.
Tim Ryan BE (Civil) RPEQ
Tim is a well respected structural engineer with nearly 30 years' experience. He joined AW Geotechnics in 2019 and offers structural design and consultations as part of our service.
Tim offers his wealth of experience to our clients to help solve both geotechnical and structural challenges. He values investing in the next generation of engineers, giving his time through mentoring and education.
Tim is a keen fisherman. In addition to his search for the next big catch, he is also on the hunt for the hottest habanero to pair with his favourite chicken wings.
Letty Gomez BSc (Civil) & Masters (Project Management)
Letty joined AW Geotechnics in 2021, bringing more than 12 years of experience in project management across commercial, residential, and retail building projects in Australia and internationally.
Outside of work, Letty appreciates quiet moments with a good book and a glass of wine. She values time with friends and family and enjoys activities like watching movies, traveling, dancing, shopping, and indulging in good food.
Her strong work ethic and loyalty are central to her approach, and she is eager to learn and grow within her field. Letty finds fulfillment in overcoming challenges and helping clients.
